After an initial rough and cold start to the season, it looks like Punxsutawney Phil may just have been right and we’re in for an abbreviated Winter after all. That doesn’t mean our Hop Blizzard is going to let up one bit though.

For our next release, we’ve got our second fruited double dry hopped DIPA in Pineapple Shape of Haze to Come.

Like the mango version, Pineapple Shape of Haze to Come is double dry hopped with Mosaic and Citra, but this time conditioned on a boatload of Pineapple instead of Mango. The end result is a tropical, and fruity, India Pale Ale that has hints of resinous pine and a toned down bitterness.

This 8.5% ABV Double IPA is even softer than it’s predecessor, treading ever so closely to not even being an IPA at all, which seems to be the rage these days.

Again, this is a very limited batch, and we’re only expecting to get about 150 cases in total will be available starting Thursday, February 15th, at 5PM. There will be a three 4-pack limit per person, $18/each. No cases sales, no reserves. Once cases are gone we will fill crowlers until we’re sold out of draft as well. ALSO AVAILABLE IN LIMITED QUANTITY AT THE BOROUGH BREWHOUSE IN JENKINTOWN!

We’ve been pretty consistent with our weekly Hop Blizzard releases, so intuition would tell one that we’ve got something coming down the pipe next week as well, right?

Once again, not filters or centrifuges were harmed in the making of this beer.
