Dank Mango Haze for Dayz

While we normally don’t try to release two big hitters on the same day, the planets have aligned and the mother of all Neshaminy Creek limited batch beer releases has become a reality…

On Friday, November 24th we’re releasing the first batch ever of MANGO SHAPE OF HAZE TO COME DIPA in addition to the latest batch of our unfiltered Simcoe and Equanot double dry hopped DANK HILL WHEAT DIPA.

Yes, we’re absolutely insane, but because of production, and namely yeast concerns, these two beers ended up being brewed almost back to back. That certainly wasn’t our intention, as we usually try to space releases like this further apart, but nonetheless, that’s what happened, so this is most certainly going down.

First off, MANGO SHAPE OF HAZE TO COME DIPA is a fruited take on our unfiltered Mosaic and Citra double dry hopped double IPA, but this time conditioned on a metric fuck ton of mango….40 pounds per barrel to be precise. Like the regular version of Shape of Haze to Come, we again fermented this 8.8% double IPA with the oh so popular Vermont/Conan/Heady ale yeast along with early/high fermentation/bio-transformation inducing dry hopping for seven days before spinning this bad boy through our centrifuge onto the second dry hop and a swimming pool amount of in-house pureed mango.  We then rack off the second dry hop and mango directly to the brite tanks for packaging. The end result is a hop and fruit pectin hazy double IPA filled to the brim with juicy citrus, tropical stone fruit, and dank resinous pine notes that we’ve been talking about brewing since the first keg of Shape of Haze was tapped earlier this year.

We’re hoping to get at least 125 cases of 16 ounce can cases along with limited draft that will be available in our Croydon Tap Room and The Borough Brewhouse location in Jenkintown in addition to the select area draft accounts listed below. There will be a two 4-pack limit per customer/per transaction limit, $18 per 4-pack. NO RESERVES, FIRST COME FIRST SERVE.

If that weren’t enough, the latest batch of DANK HILL WHEAT DIPA will be ready at the same time, so why the fuck not, right? This unfiltered, more ‘traditionally’ designed and executed Simcoe and Equonot (formerly Equinox) double dry hopped double IPA is an attack on all of your senses, and is modeled after it’s West Coast influences bursting with dank, resinous, and bitter hop flavor and aroma that at times reminds me of freshly picked mango and apricot with a huge side of palate fatigue and destruction. In the past we’ve messed around with several variations of the finishing of this beer but ultimately have gone back to the original 3 BBL version from late 2015 and are racking this direct from the fermenters sans centrifuge or additional tank conditioning.

We should get 150 sixteen ounce can cases along with limited draft available in Croydon and Jenkintown along with select accounts in our distribution footprint that are listed below. There will be a one case per customer/per transaction limit, $75 a case, or $22 a six-pack if you’re not trying to walk out the building with that much hop attitude.

So, if you feel like drinking a few beers with us on November 24th, please do stop down and enjoy a few with the Neshaminy Creek Crew. Doors open at 12 Noon. Let’s have some fun. After all, that’s what all this is about anyway, right?
