Craft Beer Spotlight: McCleary’s Irish Pub
McCleary’s Irish Pub is an old fashioned restaurant/bar located along the Northwest Lancaster County River Trail. If stopping for a quick bite to eat and drink after spending time outdoors, or looking for a good time with friends and live music, this is the place to go. Their food menu offers a wide variety of options from salads, burgers, sandwiches, to authentic Irish cuisine. In addition to the delicious food, they have a lengthy craft beer menu, boasting a large variety of draft and bottle options. Patrons can dine in the pub which has a nostalgic feel, or they can venture outside to the enclosed patio.
Another well-known fact is that McCleary’s supports the local music scene, and hosts some of the best live music in the area; from blues to bluegrass, funk to Irish folk music, they have it all. To change things up a bit, every first Wednesday of the month they host a trivia night where patrons can compete for a variety of prizes. The servers and bar staff are friendly and attentive, providing patrons with a brief history of the property and dining hall, which presents a warm and inviting atmosphere for any occasion.
Mcleary’s Pub will be hosting a Neshaminy Creek Beer Dinner on Thursday, March 21st at 7PM. Certified BJCP Judge and Neshaminy representative, Adam Fowler, will be in attendance to provide some background on the brewery and beer styles. Please contact the Pub for reservations. (717) 426-2225
