Craft Beer Spotlight: The Pineville
Located at 2448 E. Huntington Street (on the corner of Gaul St. and Huntington) in the Fishtown neighborhood of Philadelphia is The Pineville, is a new bar with an old soul. A sister establishment to the original Pineville Tavern located in Bucks County, The Pineville seeks to offer the authentic corner bar feeling you find throughout Philadelphia. Whether you are seeking an environment to enjoy a winter snowfall with a beverage and hearty meal, watch a Phillies game over some beer and wings, or have a relaxing Spring happy hour on the second story lounge, The Pineville is a hub for all occasions.
While the Pineville Tavern has been serving Bucks County since 1989, The Pineville in Fishtown was opened last August and has been a welcome addition to the family-oriented neighborhood. This should come as no surprise considering the restaurants are owned and operated by a father and son team. Andrew and Drew Abruzzese opened The Pineville with the goal of providing upscale tavern dining while focusing on local beers and spirits, which have been a binding force in the bar culture of Philadelphia for the past century. You’ll be able to find some of your favorite local breweries and distilleries on the beer and cocktail menu, including some of Neshaminy Creek Brewing Company’s finest offerings. The Pineville is open for dinner 7 nights a week and offers Saturday lunch and Sunday brunch.
In addition to the fantastic food and beverages, you’ll also find a variety of entertainment options happening regularly at The Pineville. From live music in the upstairs patio lounge to challenging quizzo nights at the bar. If you are looking for the perfect opportunity to check out all the awesomeness The Pineville has to offer swing by on the evening of March 19th for Neshaminy Creek sponsored quizzo. We’ll be pouring some great beers, awarding prizes, and having a good time. We hope to see you then… or other time you are in the neighborhood.
