Craft Beer Spotlight: Sewickley Pizza Roma
Located in the heart of Sewickley, this family-owned bar and restaurant have been around since 1984! Way back in the day this establishment started out as a little dine in / take out pizza shop. And over the years has evolved to a restaurant serving American cuisine, homemade soups and sauces and a bar specializing in craft brews and imported beers. This place is owned by a mother-daughter team with a total of 22 employees and managers. At Pizza Roma we don’t just sell beer…we sell PIZZA too! Our dough is made fresh daily in our small basement with the same mixer that we started out with in 1984. We hand toss our pizzas, top them with homemade sauce, a blend of provolone and mozzarella cheese and any topping you wish!
Our pizza goes especially well paired with Neshaminy Creek County Line IPA. We have a lot of Neshaminy Creek brews but our best seller is the County Line IPA! We have a permanent NCBC County Line tap too. Adding Neshaminy Creek to our beer line up has been very profitable for us. Bar Manager Kim Morris really takes her time picking which beers we bring into this bar. She hit the nail on the head when she chose to bring in Neshaminy Creek.
