Your OKTOBERFEST 2018 Guide
THIS SATURDAY from 12-7PM is one of our favorite days of the year: OKTOBERFEST at NCBC! We will be celebrating all day with amazing friends, family, beer, food, music and more. We really hope you can stop by and join us, and if you are able to, we have a little bit of information here for you:
All of the “general” Taproom rules apply to the Oktoberfest celebration. What we mean is that all ages can attend, it is dog-friendly, and FREE to enter. Parking, as usual for bigger events, can be tight. So please consider carpooling or using public transportation/ride sharing if you want to have a few brews. Obey all street/traffic signs and please respect the property of our amazing neighbors! If you, at any time, have any concerns or questions- just seek out an NCBC staff member!
THE FOOD & THE BEER & THE MUSIC:
So what’s an OKTOBERFEST without the food, drink, and music…right? Don’t worry, we got all bases covered here:
To start, BEER! BIER! BEER! We got a ton of our core, seasonal, and limited recent releases available (all of which you can review by CLICKING HERE), and will be releasing our Traditional Märzenbier, CREEKFESTBIER LAGER, for the event as well! Have a pint or two, and take some home in limited 16oz four-packs ($9) and cases ($48) if you would like!
When it comes to food, just as he has the last few years, THE FLYING DEUTSCHMAN food truck absolutely knocks it out of the park! Our old pal will have several dishes and sides available for you, including, but not limited to: Schnitzel, Goulash, Bratwurst, Weisswurst, Spaetzle, and so much more! If you want a taste of truly authentic German dishes, this is your best shot! We’ll also have authentic BAVARIAN STYLE PRETZELS and mustard available for $3!
Last, but certainly not least, THE PHILADELPHIA GERMAN BRASS BAND will be here during the day playing their classic arrangements of popular, and some lesser known, festival tunes!
THE AFTER PARTY AT THE BOROUGH BREWHOUSE:
While we will be kicking off our festivities at the same time as the BOROUGH BREWHOUSE in JENKINTOWN and their Oktoberfest celebration, they will certainly be going at it a bit longer than we will! For that very reason, we STRONGLY suggest getting there before or after our celebration in Croydon to enjoy their beers, brats, and chef-prepared German-style dishes, and an evening performance by Galena Brass Band of Lehigh Valley! CLICK HERE FOR MORE INFORMATION!
We hope to see you Saturday! Don’t forget your Lederhosen 🙂Tagged: Borough Brewhouse, Celebration, Craft Beer, Croydon PA, Jenkintown PA, Neshaminy Creek Brewing Company, Oktoberfest, Philadelphia German Brass Band, The Flying Deutschman
