Cherry Berlinerweisse QC Check
Alright, I bet you’re wondering why we cancelled/delayed the release of can four-packs and cases of our Cherry Berlinerweisse?
Ok, maybe you aren’t, but just in case you are…
‘In a nutshell, the problem is mainly over carbonation of draft kegs, and we’re waiting for a few results from lab testing and process evaluation to determine the cause.’
We delayed our in-house release and put a hold on distribution sales of all draft and can cases of Cherry Berlinerweisse because of a failed follow up QC check on in-house packaged draft batches that occurred first on Wednesday, July 16th, and confirmed through more testing and batch process investigation just prior to the Thursday, July 19th evening release.
At this time we’re confident that all can cases are good to go and we’ve notified our wholesalers that these can continue being sold to retailers throughout our distribution markets.
We’re still waiting for some results on our testing of draft packaged half and sixth barrel kegs. We’ve asked our wholesalers to return any and all draft kegs of this beer for further evaluation before we move forward. At this point, this only effects two of our 10 wholesale distribution partners and about 60 halves and sixtels.
In a nutshell, the problem is mainly over carbonation of draft kegs, and we’re waiting for a few results from lab testing and further process evaluation to determine the cause.
So, that being said…
Four-packs and cases of Cherry Berlinerweisse go on sale Friday, July 20th at 12 Noon, and will continue to be sold at our distribution market retailers uninterrupted.
Sorry for the confusion and delay, and as always, your continued support!
