Ride the Pineapple Wave

What says Summer more than riding a pineapple wave?

It’s funny sometimes the people we meet and the places brewing takes us. Alohop was born a decade ago on the bottling line at River Horse while Colin, one of Neshaminy Creek’s packaging gurus, and our Head Brewery, Jeremy, toiled away the hours on a 16 head Cimec rotary filler that had the temperament of a cranky toddler. Here we are 10 years later and it’s hard to believe it’s taken this long for this beer to see the light of day, but I guess now is as good a time as any for a double dry hopped pineapple IPA, right?

Alohop is a refreshing unfiltered IPA brewed with malted wheat and utilizes extensive late whirlpool addition hopping before being fermented with 120 gallons of unsweetened pineapple juice before a double dry hopping of Citra, Centennial, and Lemondrop. Oh yeah, let’s not forget an additional conditioning on 900 pounds of pureed pineapple.

Ride that pineapple wave.

At a crushable 6.2% ABV, we jam packed as much tropical fruit and dankness into every drop for you to enjoy at the beach, poolside, or enjoying a Summer night with friends and family.

16 oz. can cases are only available at our Croydon Tap Room and The Borough Brewhouse location in Jenkintown, and go on sale at 5PM on Thursday, July 12th.

4-Packs are $15/each, and cases are $75/each. Limit one case per customer. Roughly 130 to 150 cases total should come off the line.

Hope to see you Thursday!
