THIS IS NOT THE NEW NESHAMINY CREEK IPA
Our HOP BLIZZARD of February continues on with our next limited hoppy beer release, THIS IS NOT THE NEW NESHAMINY CREEK IPA.
For our next limited release we reimagined County Line IPA as a less aggressive, less bitterness forward IPA that takes cues from both the East and West Coast and like a few other Neshaminy Creek offerings finds a nice spot somewhere in the middle of it all.
Like it’s older brother, County Line IPA, THIS NOT THE NEW has a grist bill similar to County Line, but with some notable substitutions of Wheat and Honey malt for the Caramel and Munich malt in County Line IPA resulting in a lighter colored brew that has a touch of Wheat sharpness and sweetness that plays well with the Honey malt subtleness.
The hops follow a similar route, but are adjusted to all late and whirlpool hopping with zero early kettle bittering additions that are a hallmark of the more assertive West Coast-style.
Dry hopped with Mosaic, This Is Not the New Neshaminy Creek IPA is a softer, more flavor and aroma driven IPA when compared to County Line, and has HUGE notes of tangerine and ruby red grapefruit. It finishes dry, but exceptionally more balanced than it’s sibling. At an identical ABV of 6.6% it’s more of a day drinker than it’s red headed step brother The Shape of Hops to Come.
THIS IS NOT THE NEW NESHAMINY CREEK IPA is a limited, one-off release shipping now and should be hitting retail locations in PA, NJ, and DE for the most part February 19th (or sooner). Can 4-packs, cases, and draft will be available at our Croydon Tap Room and The Borough Brewhouse in Jenkintown starting at 5PM this coming Thursday, February 8th.
Four-packs are $12/each, cases are $65/each, and there is no purchase limit.
And it’s only the first full week of February…
