NOW HIRING: Full-Time Production Assistant

We’re currently accepting resumes and interviewing to fill a full-time Production Assistant position starting immediately. NCBC production assistants do a bit of everything.  They rotate through shifts of doing brewing work, cellar work, packaging, and cleaning. Ideal candidates should have a broad range of brewing experience, including but not limited to any of the following: home brewing, brew school certification from Siebel, UC Davis, or the American Craft Brewers Guild, four year college degree program with a focus on beer or commercial beverage production, a college degree in General Science, Biology, or Chemistry, BJCP judge certification, or previous brewery work experience.

Major responsibilities include:

-Dumping and milling grain

-Wort production

-Monitoring fermentation

-Cleaning tanks inside and out

-Dry hops

-Transferring beer for packaging

-Packaging beer in cans, kegs and bottles

-Labeling packaged goods

-Stacking cases

-Cleaning and maintaining all brewery equipment and surfaces

-Cleaning kegs

-Cleaning barrels

-Cleaning, lots and lots of cleaning

We are a production facility that runs 24 hours a day.  Production assistants rotate through AM, PM, and overnight shifts .

Must be able to lift 60 lbs and maneuver 170 lb objects regularly.

Good communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work safely and efficiently are crucial.

Professional brewing experience a huge plus.
