Craft Beer Spotlight: South Bowl
South Bowl is a 26 lane bowling alley in the heart of South Philadelphia. With such close proximity to the local sports stadiums, South Bowl has become a “go-to” spot for locals looking to catch all of the Eagles, Phillies, and Flyers games on some big screens, all while enjoying specials on food and drinks. The multifunctional events and bowling venue is a uniquely designed, completely renovated former cold-storage warehouse that now houses, two private bowling areas, two full-size bars, a full menu including a wood oven pizza kitchen, billiards, darts, retro arcade games, and funky vintage seating. A bi-level structure with a roof deck, South Bowl offers visitors a one of a kind view of Philadelphia. On the main floor, you can find a stage that frequently hosts touring and local musical and other entertainment acts.
South Bowl’s kitchen fires out the ultimate munchies with much-loved tater tots that her sister alley, North Bowl, made Philly famous. On the menu are things like seasonal salads, wood-fired pizza, wings, pretzel bites, Goldfish topped Mac and Cheese, and more!
Guests can also look forward to a full bar complete with wine, mixed drinks, canned beer and a number of local and craft brews, including Neshaminy Creek Brewing, on tap! If you are looking for a place in South Philly to knock over a few pins and to knock a few back, South Bowl is your spot.
