Artist Spotlight: Chill Moody
Every week leading up to our FIVE YEAR ANNIVERSARY CELEBRATION on June 10th, we will be highlighting the amazing artists that will be performing live for you.
This week, we begin with West Philly’s own Chill Moody.
Chill has been a friend of Neshaminy Creek Brewing, and the craft beer community in general, for quite some time. He hosted the 2016 Band of Brewers Event, has brewed and collaborated on the creation of his own beers and has played at some of the city’s (and nation’s) top venues and events, including recently, The NFL Draft. At the draft, Chill played in front of his hometown for one of his biggest audiences (250K visited during the 3-days) on the Ben Franklin Parkway, marking a huge WIN for the city he knows and loves. Chill is known as the Ambassador of the Philly Music Scene and is an outspoken proponent of artists of all genres calling the musically flourishing City of Brotherly Love their home.
His unique flow, outstanding production, and incomparable presence are just a few of the other reasons we wanted him to perform, and keep fresh, the sound of our FIVE YEAR CELEBRATION.Chill is truly an undeniable talent both onstage and in-studio, which has been exemplified most recently in the release of his latest EP “It’s Gon Be a Nice Year.” In a year (2016) where Chill saw more successes (TV appearances, releases, biggers shows) than ever before, it is his humbleness, outlook, and hunger that keep him at the top of the game.
Make sure to catch Chill on stage at NCBC’s FIVE YEAR ANNIVERSARY on June 10th, because we don’t see him slowing down or fading away anytime soon.
