And so it begins…

It’s official.  We’re a brewery!

On Friday, March 18th the Tax and Trade Bureau approved our Brewery Notice application and collateral bond.  To say we’re excited would be putting it rather mildly.  I wish I could have seen the look on my own face when I opened the mailbox and saw the big manila envelope with the TTB return address on it.  We can finally get this brewery off the ground!  This is, of course, one of many hurdles, but we can proudly say that there will soon be a production brewery in Bucks County!

That being said, where does all of this leave us?

Well, now the real marathon begins.  With the federal Brewery Notice approval in hand we can put all our time and money into building this brewery from the ground up so the Pennsylvania Liquor Control Board can give is the final approval to actually sell the beer we plan on making.  There’s a ton of work to do, but at least now we can actually do it without the worry that all of this would have been for not if something would have gone wrong on the federal, and ultimately, the state level.

In addition, here are two equally important announcements.  We’re happy to say that we’ve signed two distribution deals that will help us get our beer, when ready, out into the market in Southeastern Pennsylvania and New Jersey.  Bella Vista, Southeastern Pennsylvania’s premiere craft beer distributor will be handling our distribution in Philadelphia, Bucks, Chester, Delaware, Montgomery, Berks, Lehigh, and Northampton counties while Hunterdon Brewing Company in Phillipsburg, New Jersey will be handing our distribution throughout the entire state of New Jersey.  We’re excited to be working with two distributors that represent such great brands like AleSmith, Ballast Point, Boulder, Cigar City, Dogfish Head, Founders, Rogue, Sixpoint, Stone, Troegs, and Yards.  Needless to say, we’re really excited to be working with people that care about and are as passionate about craft beer as we are.

We will be posting a bunch of tastings and events we’ll be participating in very shortly.  The next one will be Friday, April 8th, followed by another Friday, April 15th.  We’re gonna be busy!

Thank you to everyone for all the kind words and support over the past few months.  We hope to be making quality, hand crafted beer you can be proud to say is made here in Bucks County very soon!
